We get many requests here at Clearly Apartments for recommendations on where to eat in York, the choice is sometimes overwhelming! After many guests asked for good vegan food we decided to put together (with a help from a vegan friend!) this list of the best restaurants to eat at while you stay here. This list also includes gluten free restaurants so hopefully you’ll be able to feed everybody in your party!

5.Bicis Y Mas
Bicis Y Mas has combined a beautiful vegetarian cafe and a utilitarian bike shop and workshop. Located in the beautiful Walmgate/Fossgate area of York. The area is home to Paper Drop: an Artisan paper shop, Bowler Vintage: a specialist in vintage clothing, and many other wonderful and exciting shops. If you’re looking for a warm and friendly place to relax mid-way through the ‘Way of Roses’ ride, maybe you’re meeting your friends for a ride, or even just popping out for a bite to eat, then this cafe is the place. They can provide you with a belly-filling, taste bud-tingling delight.
