York Luxury Apartment layout and features
The apartment has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a large en suite bathroom. There is also a main bathroom with a bath and shower.
The living area has a very stylish kitchen with an induction hob and oven. There is also a large fridge and freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and microwave.
The living area has a dining table and chairs and sofas. There is a smart TV in the apartment, so that you can watch Netflix, i player etc. The apartment has its own wifi box so that you have your own free wifi in the apartment, not shared with anyone else.
There is an elevator in the building and the apartments is on the second floor. At the rear of the apartments is an open balcony giving views over nearby historic buildings.
Our apartments has a modern energy saving heating system with an air recirculation feature. The heating and hot water are controlled for you and controllable thermostats are on the radiators. We provide an additional fan heater for your comfort.
York Luxury Apartment location
The best feature of our apartment is its location. York Minster is just 250 metres away so you can walk there in just a few minutes. Also just a few minutes’ walk away are York Art Gallery, York Theatre Royal and the city walls. If you want a stroll in the park, there’s the entrance to the Museum Gardens within a couple of minutes’ walk as well. In this city centre park you will also find the Yorkshire Museum and the ruins of St Mary’s Abbey.
York Museum Gardens lead on to the river and there you will find beautiful riverside walks or a great place to go for an early morning jog.
The apartment is within walking distance of York Railway Station. The best route to use is over the pedestrian Scarborough Bridge that leads directly from the rear of the station.
On the ground floor of the Luxury Aspire Apartments block is a small Sainsbury’s Supermarket where you will find all the provisions you need for your short stay. Within just 100 metres of the apartments you will find 5 bars/pubs, two cafes and 3 restaurants.

What’s included
We include a welcome pack in our Luxury Apartment. We also provide all bed linen and towels for your stay. When you stay for longer than 3 nights we refresh your room and provide extra towels and other items and a complementary clean of the apartment.
The welcome pack contains a washing up kit, tea, coffee and chocolate and some soaps, shampoo and body wash items.
The welcome pack celebrates the chocolate manufacturing heritage of York. The street that the apartments are on, Bootham, was the home to Joseph Rowntreee (he lived in two houses on this street in his lifetime). The walkway outside the apartment overlooks the playing field of Bootham School, a fee paying Quaker School founded by Joseph Rowntree. You will find some of his chocolate brands in your pack together with other York brands.
Parking & Extras
There are three options for parking at our Luxury Apartments as follows:
- We have on street permits for parking 400 metres from the property. The cost is £14.50 per night.
- There is also a public car park next to the apartments. Parking is per hour here and you will need to check the costs if you wish to use this. The car park is called Bootham Row YO30 7BP.
